Much needed trip to Arizona

I had been yearning for 'home'...I had desperately been missing the mountains, the big sky, the daily sunshine, and my LifeFriends. Last week I was able to make a trip out to Arizona and it was awesome! It was sooo good to be there. I was able to go hiking, hit most of my favorite restaurants, hung out with friends, went to Tempe Marketplace, went to the new hotspot-Liberty Market, LifeStock, surprised my friend at her baby shower, and even worked a couple of days while I was in town! It was a wonderful, relaxing, much-needed trip! I am planning on going back in August and am already counting down the days!

Frisbee time!

Over the Easter weekend, Jeremy and I took Maverick and Graham down to my Grandma and Grandpa's house (we didn't have Nate this weekend). We had a great time visiting with family AND watching Maverick play frisbee! It was a beautiful day out so we got the frisbee out and it was a joy watching Maverick have so much energy! He was bouncing all over the place and even caught a couple of frisbees! As you can see in the pictures, he tired himself out, although he wanted to still play! Graham was very content sitting on the cool concrete and watching all of the action! This was definitely a good day for the boys!!

Leaving PHX again...

For the very few people who read this blog...I know I have been slacking here! I have now become addicted to Facebook and have been posting recent happenings and more pictures on there. I tell ya, it is hard to keep up with technology! Anyway, I thought I would jump on here and give a little update as I am sitting in the PHX airport. I was in the Valley of the Sun this past weekend for business and pleasure and had an absolute blast. It was soooo amazing to be 'home' again as this area will always be 'home' to me even though I have not lived here in over a year. I have needed the break and a refresher so this trip came at a perfect time. It was awesome to be among friends, the big sky, the bright sun, the beautiful mountains, cacti, amazing weather, and to be back to wearing tank tops and flip flops! I was able to do and see so much while I was here but yet it still didn't seem long enough. I am very thankful to be able to make the trip though as Jeremy was ever so kind and gracious to be a 'single dad' this weekend. I enjoyed my time here immensely and will definitely be counting the days until my next trip out here! I am looking forward to seeing all of my boys and will post pictures soon!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Grandma and Papa came up on Saturday and we all hung out together. We went to the Bass Pro Shop where Nate saw the Easter Bunny! He was not interested in sitting on his lap alone so Aunt Stephanie had to jump in and sit by the big bunny too. We then went over to the park where Grandma and Papa had hidden some eggs for Nate to find! We took the dogs over to the park too and they enjoyed getting out AND even helped Nate find some eggs! Nate had a lot of fun on his Easter egg hunt and we had a lot of fun watching him!
